The week begins with a full Moon in Pisces as the Sun in Virgo beams from across the zodiac, in a direct connection to the planet of illusion, Neptune.  Any time Neptune and the Moon get together we can expect our emotions to be confused and somewhat muddy.  It may be wise to wait until the Moon moves on before we come to any significant conclusion about an emotional topic.  This might be the perfect example of what it means to “sleep on” something.  You may be keyed up by an event, only to find that you feel quite differently as the light of dawn appears.  More so than other signs, Pisces operates in a dream-like, illusive realm quite frequently.  After all, this sign often dwells in a fantasy state where reality is often obfuscated by the mood and, in this case, the Moon.  By week’s end, Mars will be leaving its rulership of Scorpio and entering into Sagittarius where it will soon be headed towards a direct conjunction with Pluto and a square to Uranus in mid-November.  This may be a highly charged and volatile period so be forewarned and make plans accordingly.  Mars/Pluto/Uranus is a highly flammable combination and bears notice, particularly as events on the world stage appear to be heating up considerably.  One of the more dramatic and noticeable by-products of this current global situation is the sheer number of serious events unfolding concurrently.  Consider Iraq, Ukraine, Gaza, Ebola, Ferguson, Missouri as they all appear at the same time.

Elsewhere, words may fly in the most unexpected ways this week as the two cerebrally-aligned planets face off against each other.  Mercury and Uranus are both known to represent the intellect, curiosity, spontaneity, and impulsivity.  As they stand in direct opposition to each other at 15 degrees Libra and Aries, respectively, we might expect some rather heated conversations.  Volatile need not imply angry, but the talk may be quite animated and controversial.  Uranus is currently in retrograde motion at 15 degrees Aries, while fast-moving Mercury clicks by at 15 degrees Libra.  These two planets are inextricably linked by the intellect, with Uranus playing the role of the higher octave.  While Mercury is nimble and quick, Uranus, by nature, as an outer planet, moves much slower, but still tends to deliver the unexpected.  To fuel this interaction further we see the Moon dashing through Taurus/Gemini late in the week where it opposes Mars, in Scorpio.  Mars is will have just left slow-moving Saturn so we may expect to witness the fall-out or arguments about what is right and what is wrong.  Riots, public outcry, social injustice are the topics that may boil to the surface under this particularly caustic engagement.
