Week of June 24th by Chris Flisher
A full Moon in Capricorn brings an alignment that triggers the cardinal angle as it crosses over the same degree as Pluto shortly thereafter. An emotional hot-spot may also occur as this Moon will also square Uranus, known for creating random acts of unpredictability and chaos. Despite this potential we also see the influence of the Moon over Neptune and Saturn later in the week. Neptune is currently in a trine (or a harmonious angle) to Saturn so we might get a real tangible taste of what it means to dream and imagine responsibly. Saturn likes order, discipline, accountability and doing the right thing, whereas Neptune dwells in the realm of the dreamer and the illusive world of imagination and fantasy. Does the exchange between these two outer planets represent a glimpse of a dream coming to light? This is a busy week for planets changing signs. When planets change signs we have action and results.
Jupiter moves into Cancer mid-week. Jupiter is exhalted in Cancer and the goodness can be quite optimistic and ebullient. Jupiter will eventually complete a Grand Water trine when it arrives at 4 degrees Cancer and Neptune and Saturn both in retrograde motion align with it in fellow water signs, Scorpio and Pisces respectively. Trines tend to be beneficial and positive so we might find that the way forward is just a little bit easier as people in power come to their senses. Right after Jupiter enters Cancer, Mercury stations retrograde at 23 degrees Cancer. Despite much negative hype, retrograde periods actually can be quite fruitful. Not only do they prod us to re-think, re-do, and re-visit topics, they also force us to re-consider and change course. Yes, things do go wrong and it does make sense to check figures, contracts and other agreements before you sign, but the process of reviewing is the secret to success. Mistakes are corrected (if caught) and progress is made. Venus also enters a new sign this week as it slides into Leo where it will eventually align with Uranus and bring pleasant surprises down the road.
True astrology comes from accuracy. When you know the exact details of your chart, you get the instructions for your own particular journey. These are the instructions. Like an operators manual. Using birth date, place and time you see where the action is in your life. Accurate, predictable, validating, in short, astrology works. I have been working with charts and the planets for years and the timing and action is real and validating beyond belief. Listen each week to “Turning of the Wheel” on Contact Talk Radio at 11:00 AM.
