Weekly Astrology July 15, 2013

The big news this week is the grand water trine.  A trine is an astrological term for when two (or more) planets form a 120 degree angle between themselves.  This is considered a harmonious and pleasing angle.  This particular trine takes place with three major outer planets; all in water signs.  We’ll see Jupiter at 4 degrees Cancer (cardinal water), Saturn at 4 degrees Scorpio (fixed water), and Neptune at 4 degrees Pisces (mutable water).  The water signs represent our emotions.  This, uniquely human trait, allows us to inter-relate with others and is an intangible characteristic that we all share.  It is one of the things that makes us unique (as far as we know) among the animal world.  Love and affection are as much a part of our emotional make-up as anger and aggression.  We do have a choice in how we respond.  The trine tends to favor the softer, more pleasant side of the emotional spectrum, so we can embrace this as a period of constructive change that brings out the best in all of us.  Hallelujah!

Since we are still in the midst of the Uranus/Pluto square (challenging, albeit separating), this trine may add the softening that allows us to grow through adversity.  One of the more noticeable aspects will come from Mercury, currently still in retrograde, which will be conjunct the natal Mercury in the US chart and, of course, opposing Pluto and squaring Uranus as well.  This can manifest as either constructive action, dialog and response to the grinding forward motion or it can deliver a spark of revelation.  What would it look like if a major scandal appeared or a political gauntlet was thrown down?  Does this require action?  Relationships may be reaching a boiling point but the results may be positive.  In the end, the conversation will be what lingers.  Words, letters, emails, headlines, correspondence and all will be flying across the globe this week and some of it might well set things in a new direction once and for all.  Wouldn’t it be nice?

True astrology comes from accuracy.  When you know the exact details of your chart, you get the instructions for your own particular journey.  These are the instructions.  Like an operators manual. Using birth date, place and time you see where the action is in your life.  Accurate, predictable, validating, in short, astrology works.  I have been working with charts and the planets for years and the timing and action is real and validating beyond belief.  Listen each week to “Turning of the Wheel” on Contact Talk Radio at 11:00 AM.  The shows are then podcast on iTunes for later in the week.  Write to me for a reading chris@chrisflisher.com or visit my website at www.turningofthewheel.com.
