Week of July 1st 2013
A fairly dramatic week awaits as the Sun clicks into the middle degrees of Cancer and directly opposes Pluto (the great restorer) and sits in a difficult angle to Uranus the rebellious upstart. A planetary alignment such as this usually spells out some sort of event that forces change. Although the changes may be less apparent than they are with an eclipse, the gradual applying pressure of planets moving closer by degree does point to the pathway forward. Pluto and Uranus at this point, have already been at their apex in relationship several times over the last few years. They have brought about a significant shift in the landscape of the world. We have seen a major overhaul of large institutions, churches, and a general restructure of daily life for millions of people. “A new way to live,” has been the theme. If we were to look back 10, or even 6, years we would see a dramatically different work force, economic structure, and political landscape.
Yet this is how we make progress. Without these disruptions we would not be awake to the situation. While Pluto and Uranus are fairly evident, the Sun coming into Cancer can trigger new events as it marches through Cancer and opposes Pluto and squares Uranus. All of this happens as the US celebrates a birthday and Jupiter works its way towards an anniversary twelve years in the making. Early in the week, Mars returns to a direct alignment with the natal Mars of the US. This event happens every 16 months and raises the desire to act, be acted upon (aggression), and to move (change). Together when we take this combination of planetary activity we see action (Mars), expansion (Jupiter), rebellion (Uranus), and reconstruction (Pluto) all lit up by the brightness of the Sun. Mixing this prophesy of events together we can see a new road before us which is dramatically different than where we were. The fact that all of this occurs near the birthday of the US is significant indicator of rebirth. If we are wise we see this as a new beginning and not a dreary end.
True astrology comes from accuracy. When you know the exact details of your chart, you get the instructions for your own particular journey. These are the instructions. Like an operators manual. Using birth date, place and time you see where the action is in your life. Accurate, predictable, validating, in short, astrology works. I have been working with charts and the planets for years and the timing and action is real and validating beyond belief. Listen each week to “Turning of the Wheel” on Contact Talk Radio at 11:00 AM. The shows are then podcast on iTunes for later in the week. Write to me for a reading firstname.lastname@example.org or visit my website at www.turningofthewheel.com.
