Madame Blavatsky

Back in the mid 1800s, a strange woman with a thick Russian accent and a head full of wild esoteric ideas, formed a new movement dedicated to the forward evolution of the occult.  Although not considered a cultist per se, her work blended Eastern religion, mysticism, psychic channeling, and other controversial topics into a bold new sect of followers that formed what many believe to be the founding of the new age philosophies we recognize today.  Although she was alive over 120 years ago, Madame Blavatsky’s influence continues to populate many of the spiritually-oriented lifestyles many of us now subscribe.  Join host, Chris Flisher as he speaks with author Gary Lachman about this most fascinating woman in this podcast.
