A new Moon in Virgo starts the week off. New Moons offer the chance for us to reevaluate where we are emotionally and where we want to be going forward. Ws can view it as an opportunity to shift our focus and realign with our true purpose. The Moon holds sway over all of our emotions and during the course of any month we will feel its influence both in positive and negative terms. While in Virgo, the Moon tilts towards a bit more criticism than usual but also allows us to offer ourselves in service to others. This is Virgo’s great claim; to be of service. There may be no more noble cause than to come to the aid of those in need. In this capacity we see a large number of individuals who offer service to others to have a strong Virgo component in their astrological profile. They may have either a Virgo Moon, ascendant, or maybe a strong sixth house placement which is the house ruled by Virgo. In any event the new Moon in Virgo may bring many of these topics to light for a brief fleeting moment. How does this new Moon impact you? Where is this placement in your chart? Where will you feel its presence? For more detailed information contact me at www.chrisflisher.com or www.turningofthewheel.com.
Also important this week is Mars’ ingress in Aquarius. It was back in the end of June that Mars retrograded through the early degrees of aquarius and subsequently into Capricorn. Mars is moving forward (from our perspective on earth) and we will all feel its influence. Mars is the great warrior and as a result is identified by the characteristics of courage, ambition, anger, and aggression and and action. During its retrograde, we may have felt uninspired or unmotivated to accomplish that which we had in mind. Now that the planet has gone direct, we may feel its influence as we enter into the new school year and charge forward with our best intentions for improving our collective lives. Aquarius is the sign of the collective and in that capacity we may witness more acts that address and enable the larger populus. Large governmental programs such as Medicare and Social Security are prime examples of the power of collective programs that provide support and allow us to move forward. With Mars marching through Aquarius we can expect to see a heightened interest or focus in programs that help the masses..

ARIES (March 21- April 19)
This should be an excellent week to enter into negotiations regarding your career. The Sun and Mercury will be lively together and could help spark some talks about the direction you are heading. You may be beginning to see signs of where the greatest potential lies. Possible partnerships may be a motivator.
TAURUS (April 20 -May 20)
Children and your creative spirit may be dominating this week. You may be exploring new ways to expand your view of the world along with your skill set. Education and travel are long term themes that are slowly transforming you and resetting your priorities. Any effort that you can put into these areas are likely to pay off handsomely.
GEMINI (May 21-June 21)
Your focus this week will be pulled towards family and domestic topics. The choices you make this week may have a long-term impact so mull over your options cautiously before you make a move. With that in mind your unique ability to openly discuss ideas is a wonderful way to get the conversation started.
CANCER (June 22-July 22)
Expect to spend some time working on documentation of some nature. This same influence may also tilt towards one of your siblings so bear that in mind. Your primary relationship may be the source of some deep comfort and heralds a true sense of fated destiny. You may feel as if this is supposed to be the one.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)
You may experience some unexpected activity regarding your career this week. A ripple effect could sweep into your primary relationship and your domestic scene as well. Of course that makes sense, since what you do for work has a direct impact on your family. Try and reign in any aggression as it could easily spiral out of control.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
This is your time in the spotlight, Virgo. Both the Sun and your ruling planet, Mercury are working together to support you. You may be in an enviable position to take the reins and steer your talents, influence, and presence in a new and bold direction. Look for a creative rebirth that is long overdue.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
You may be witnessing a slow, gradual shift in your family. You may be welcoming an elderly relative to your home or perhaps just the opposite, but expect a long-term trend to be beginning or ending in that area. Be aware of sudden financial shortcomings or windfalls. Children may push your financial buttons so prepare.
SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov 21)
The week may present you with an unusual sense of power. How you use that power is key, though. Unexpected events or comments from a close friend or partner could either rattle or thrill you. Home and family are the big motivators and that may be where you chose to exert your temporary power.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
You may be cast in a very public light this week so be prepared. Either your career or other type of occupation are highlighted and you are by association. Look to financial investments for long-term shifts. Choices you make this week may have long consequences so make them carefully. Unexpected paperwork may pose a delay of some nature.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
Motivation this week may be purely monetary which is fine as long as you are aiming at the right markets. Creativity and collaboration hold great promise so you might be wise to find the appropriate outlet for that to manifest. Travel and education are likely subjects of your conversations. A good week to continue your re-invention.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
You may find yourself in conversations with large entities this week. Universities, municipalities, and the like may be part of your discussions this week. Finances may be an uncertain area that draws you in. Be aware of acting overly aggressive in topics that involve your career. Aggression only works if it is contained and thoughtful.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)
The week ahead should provide you with many opportunities to have fun with partners and close friends. Any social event will likely be fun-filled as long as your expectations are in realistic. Be aware of unforeseen correspondence that might set you off and running down a rabbit hole chasing after nothing.
