FORECAST: Weekly Astrology May 25, 2020

Within the last week we have seen four planets station retrograde.  This is a significant event and worthy of notice, especially since three of the planets are outer planets and therefore their motion is much slower than an inner planet.  Pluto stationed retrograde at 24 degrees Capricorn and is still sitting at that same degree.  Saturn followed at 1 degree Aquarius and is also still at the same degree mark.  Lastly, Jupiter, the “quickest” of the outer planets, turned retrograde at 27 degrees Capricorn and remains at that same degree now.  It is the very dynamic nature of a circle that these planets move slower.  Think of a bicycle wheel where the outer planets are located on or near the outer rim of the wheel.  Located on the outer rim, they take a much longer period of time to move as many degrees as the inner planets do because the distance they have to travel is far greater.  What this dynamic presents is a return of influence similar to that of the outbreak of the virus.  Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto all aligned on January 12, 2020 at 22 degrees Capricorn.  This degree mark is when we first noticed the arrival of the COVID-19 virus.  It is not a difficult leap to imagine a recurrence or second wave of the virus as predicted by the medical authorities at this time leading into autumn and beyond.  This is where cynics of astrology have a hard time rectifying the precision and accuracy of this art/science.  Does the virus return?  Do events repeat?  Not necessarily with the same impact or timing, but with a similar theme to be certain.  Where is that happening in your life?  Contact me at cflisher@gmail.comWWW.turningofthewheel.com, www.chrisflisher.com.

On the other hand, Venus which is a faster moving inner planet, will also station retrograde at 21 degrees Gemini and remain in that sign until June 25th.  At that point, Venus stations direct and will move back through Gemini until the first week in August.  In total Venus will remain in Gemini roughly four months, an unusually lengthy stay in the sign of communication and curiosity.  Venus is all about love, harmony, and beauty.  When it turns retrograde all of those topics are up for consideration.  Since this is a long journey through Gemini, we may find ourselves reconsidering relationships and how they impact us and their worth to us.  The juxtaposition of this period of retrograde action combined with many people being isolated can bring us all to a place where we begin to question our connections with others.  Now that we can no longer connect with others as we once did, does that make us look at these relationships through a different set of lenses?  Or conversely, does this period of isolation force to rejoin our relationships and appreciate them in a new light?  The choice is ours.  We are here for a short time and we may be more appreciative of those closest to us now more than ever.  Where will you feel it?  If you have questions about your own unique destiny contact me at, www.chrisflisher.com, or www.turningofthewheel.com.

ARIES (March 21-April 19): Yes, your ruling planet, Mars is in the watery realm of Pisces.  And even though Mars is somewhat subdued in this position of the zodiac, there is potential for unexpected discovery or disruption as Mars moves into a sextile with Uranus late in the week.  This connection might present you with an unanticipated reveal.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20): You may be in the process of re-evaluating your role.  Are you in a position to dictate the direction of your career?  How do you work with business associates and gain leverage?  The answer and the challenge may be rooted in education and training.  With the proper skill set, you’ll have a better bargaining chip.

GEMINI (May 21-June 21): The Sun is spinning through Gemini and you may feel the visceral pull of that genuine intriguing spark of curiosity.  Venus currently in Gemini is retrograding and will be in your sign for almost four months this year.  You may have an ample opportunity to rethink some of your long term goals and career prospects.

CANCER (June 22-July 22): Mercury steps into Cancer late in the week and this might be an opportune time to get a conversation started about what to do next.  You may be facing a decision point.   Do you want to change your focus for your next steps?  Proactive steps may be worth considering.  It may be wise to reach out to old friends.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22): Possible surprises are likely in your career domain so keep apprised of that potential.  A dilemma may arise with your partner as the subject of career may be viewed differently from their perspective.  Old business connections may prove useful so take those calls if they come.  Keep your eye on health topics.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22): Work subjects are likely this week.  Even though Venus is retrograde in that area of your life, this might be a time when old connections pan out and arrive to offer help.  Creative projects are a challenge but the rewards are there nonetheless.  Your primary relationship may be the motivating factor in your turn towards success.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22): Your ruling planet, Venus is drifting in retrograde in fellow air-sign, Gemini.  Intellectual stimulation is a hot topic for you as you revise your plans to accommodate challenging situations with family projects.  One of the best ways to alleviate the current churn is to escape into education and travel.  Exercise is a great relief valve.

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov 21): Some of your focus may be drawn to topics of a legal nature, especially with regard to elderly relatives.  Insurance companies, banks and the like also fall into this theme.  This is a perfect time to review your holdings and consider the safest and most beneficial pattern for moving forward.  Children may be the motivating factor.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21): Expect to see a lot of activity with your partner or close friends this week.  This is a time of revisitation for many and you are no different.  Are you pondering your friendships?  Long-term investments are still on your radar and an outside opinion might be the best route given the times.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19): You may be motivated rto return to a lifestyle that involves working.  While that is admirable you might also be wondering if that is prudent.  Financial pressure might be easing a bit as the focus returns to your own sense of pragmatism.  Conversations with partner could be lively as you consider new health routines.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18):  The cosmos is serving you up some tough options lately.  The desire to change and depart for a new frontier may be nudging you, but the weight of such a change is significant.  Financial considerations may be the motivating factor, but there is some ambiguity surrounding that approach.  Domestic surprises may be forthcoming.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20): Mars and Neptune are in Pisces and you may be motivated to find a new road to travel.  Business connections may be fraught with complexities that you are not willing to entertain.  Family plans may require some alterations and the subject is well worth introducing to other members.  A surprise from a sibling could be uplifting.
