After a fairly dramatic week last week we enter into a period of a relative calm. Much of what we have witnessed has been at the hands of a series of events that unfolded under a short span of time. We had the Virgo Full Moon last week followed by Mercury stationing direct in opposing sign Pisces and also conjunct Neptune also in Pisces. That was followed by the Sun’s ingress into Aries and to add to the cosmic stew of the week we also witnessed Saturn depart Capricorn and swing into the early degrees of Aquarius for a short stay until early July where it will crawl back into Capricorn until December at which point it will cross back into Aquarius where it will remain for the next roughly two and a half years. While Saturn has been in Capricorn, the sign that it rules we have seen a major reorganization of several long-standing entities and policies. Once Saturn is in Aquarius to stay (December 2020) we will be facing a challenge collectively. Aquarius speaks to the larger body of all humanity and when Saturn dwells there we can expect a call to action on behalf of all humans to clean up our act. Where is that happening in your life? Despite what appears to be a calmer time we still have a major corrective conjunction still slowly unfolding in Capricorn. Since most of this energy has involved slow-moving planets we can expect the action and events to appear on a much more gradual and evolutionary level. In the background, Pluto continues its slow transit of Capricorn, dragging down established entities, policies, and organizations that no longer serve our greater purpose. Much of that slow action will be clearly evident as Mars plows through Capricorn. Over the course of the week Mars will conjunct Jupiter and Pluto and inflame their respective properties and characteristics with a touch of action. Mars conjunct Pluto can be especially notable as it combines the power of deconstruction with the willful aggression of Mars, the warrior. Like a fuse that has been freshly lit, Mars sparks action and when it combines with Jupiter the situation becomes amplified. Where will you feel it? ARIES (March 21-April 19): The Sun is currently working its way through Aries and that brings it into conjunction with Chiron. Chiron represents the wounded healer. This might be an appropriate time to consider forgiving yourself and others for the past. There is great freedom in letting go of what has happened in the past. Time to move forward.
TAURUS (April 20-May 20): Venus is on your side this week and it is a wonderful feeling. The Moon in Taurus late in the week will sweeten this theme even more. Spontaneous encounters with new people could bode well for a new relationship or new endeavor. You also have the good fortune of saying goodbye to something that no longer serves you.
GEMINI (May 21-June 21): Your ruling planet, Mercury is direct and out of its nasty retrograde period. Currently the little planet will be impacting your career domain, so pay attention to information, research and other communicative enterprises that involve work. A cautionary tale though as Neptune is also in the mix which could send false indicators.
CANCER (June 22-July 22): This should be a great week to contact old business connections for things such as references, employment leads and other resources. There is great activity in your career mansion so you’d be wise to channel your thoughts in that area. Look to let go of old out-dated connections and move forward with cond=fidence and surety.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22): Great potential continues to expand in your career possibilities. While there is no guarantee, the likelihood of something coming to fruition continues to be favorable. Change is underway with regard to how you live your daily routine. Could that mean a change of occupation? Use discretion and seek clarity if dealing with large organizations or elderly relatives.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22): Surprises await if you are out and about. Stop and consider chance encounters as indicators of your positive steps in the right direction. Synchronicities are evidence of proper progress and you should pay attention to them. Elsewhere you are being challenged to accept a new method of personal expression. Can you relate?
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22): This is a time to heal past relationships. While the time between has softened the rough edges it is an ideal opportunity to forgive, forget, and forge onward. Unexpected twists with elderly relatives could catch you off guard and force you to change your plans, so be aware of that potential. Abide by boundaries put in place by lifestyle.
SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov 21): Unanticipated events may tumble out of your significant relationships so keep an eye on that area of your life. Good things can be off-putting so don’t fear what is yet to occur. Documentation, communication and complications continue with siblings and relatives. Seek clarity in all things related to children and creative projects.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21): Making a fundamental shift in your daily routine can bear significant benefits. The slightest alteration can re-shape the whole trajectory of your life patterns in positive ways. Plan for the future with financial caution and resiliency in mind. Time spent with children will provide a renewed appreciation of values and family.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19): This is a time to heal and move forward. Try and regard the past as a testament to who you are today. There will be good and there will be bad in your memories. Consciously focus on the good and turn from the bad. Creative expression serves a surprising tool for redemption and salvation.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18): By week’s end Saturn will step into Aquarius and responsibility takes center stage. What is looming in your world that requires a tightening of your plans? Closure and a new plan are in high focus for you now. Plans that involve family and your domestic scene may be the best investment of your time and resources.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20): Mercury is now direct in Pisces and may provide you with an opportunity to express your views with business partners. A nostalgic glance back at your home and foundation are likely to draw the sentimental side of you to the surface. Documentation and research are key to establishing your role with new alliances.
