Weekly Astrology for June 8, 2020 by Chris Flisher
By the end of the week the Moon, Mars, and Neptune will be aligned in the later degrees of Pisces. As with any astrological connection a story is being formed that mirrors the players and planets involved. With the Moon we come to understand our emotions, our sense of security, and the feminine within us. With Mars the story is more about action, ambition, and aggression. And of course with Neptune, the story is one woven of a disorienting fabric, where the facts are often obscured or hidden. The greater story of this alignment will vary by individual, but the theme of fantasy may emerge. As we step back into an uncertain world, what do we value the most? What have we missed the most? Will we ever return to our familiar world? We are living in a surreal period where time and space seem to dissolve and vanish. That may be the power of Neptune over this entire period, especially in Pisces, where the dream world is normal. Our desire to escape may be driven by Mars as we struggle to make sense of the new era into which we have been cast. It wasn’t that long ago when we lived a life that was familiar and somewhat predictable. We had our routines and we knew where we were going. Now, all bets are off. That feeling of living in a re-cast life may be the essence of the Moon/Mars/Neptune alignment. Where is that happening in your life? Contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org. We also see Jupiter retrograding backwards and moving into a conjunction with Pluto, which is also in retrograde motion as well as Saturn. When planets retrograde it is a time for us to reflect on where we are. As mentioned earlier, a story is being formed around the attributes of this alignment as well. Jupiter brings along a sense of expansion and largesse. Expansion or amplification can inflame a situation and provide heat or exaggeration. Pluto is best known for deconstruction and subsequent reconstruction. Since these degrees are similar and sensitive to the arrival of the virus, we should approach this time frame with caution and restraint. Are we testing fate? Should we consider this episode over? Or does the cosmos have a different course for us to follow? We should learn lessons from other areas of the planet where the return to “normal” has been premature and perhaps careless. “It’s nature’s way of telling you something’s wrong.” ~Randy California (Spirit.) ARIES (March 21-April 19): Watch what you long for this week. You may be easily swayed by a charming gesture or misinterpreted comment by someone. Neptune is aligning with your ruler, Mars and you may be not seeing clearly. No need to panic, simply flow and be aware of the tendency towards ambiguity. Careful with legal documents.
TAURUS (April 20-May 20): Pay special attention to your conversations with co-workers this week. Neptune and Mars are together and you could be misled about an important set of facts. Sudden changes can be off-putting and uncertain, so be on the lookout and avoid acting impulsively. The subject of finances could arrive and that sets off a confusing dialog.
GEMINI (May 21-June 21): You could experience a rather challenging set of circumstances if you are involved with a large organization or an elderly relative this week. Perhaps something you say quite impulsively sets off a string of events that ends up in a tangle of ambiguous details. Despite the churn you may be able to use your charm to evade a problem.
CANCER (June 22-July 22): These are confusing times as we never know what is likely to happen next. Travel plans and education may be motivating you, but holding you back at the same time. What to do? Yet, the time may be ripe for a new beginning as the Sun gets ready to enter your sign soon.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22): A certain fascination with escapism may overwhelm you this week, so simply be aware. Mars and Neptune together can cast a magical spell that tempts you to remove yourself in some manner. You may be discussing plans with a potential business associate and the conversations may be cloudy and unclear. Maintain good health habits.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22): Your career may be in motion this week, or at least up for consideration. Offers that come may be tempting but not quite what you expected. Relationships with friends and lovers are rife with confusion and miscommunication. Avoid emotional encounters if possible. Keep discussions with business allegiances moving and light for the best results.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22): Be aware of a confusing period this week when plans and events may not go as you thought. Health and dietary topics are likely to be misleading. Family and domestic topics continue to be a source of testing for you. Travel and education plans may be facing new scrutiny as events unfold that you had not anticipated.
SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov 21): Creative plans may be a bit unrealistic this week despite your desire to get things done. Children figure prominently in this scenario. If you work in a large organization your plans could be undergoing new scrutiny. The same theme applies to any legal matter you may be pursuing. It would be wise to wait.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21): Be mindful of an exaggerated response to a family matter this week. You may be motivated to resolve an issue, but the facts may be somewhat vague. Try to avoid an emotional reaction to domestic topics. Discussions with your primary partner could help reverse your dilemma. Scrutinize financial plans for long term returns.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19): Your siblings may prove to be a motivating factor for you this week. Documentation is also a driving factor, so be on the lookout for paperwork, legal matters and items that rely on accurate information. The figures could be confusing so be mindful of any ambiguity and make plans to resolve.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18): As the tough times continue to drag on you may be adopting a new view to the world. A philosophical approach to life may provide you with a deeper sense of comfort. You may be motivated to act on a financial matter, but you should restrain from acting impulsively as the information you seek may not be clear.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20): The Moon, Mars and Neptune are all gathered in Pisces this week, so you may be emotionally wobbly. Be aware that these moments happen to all of us and it is alright to feel uncertain at times. You would be wise to withhold any action until you have a clearer picture. Time and patience are your allies this week.
