The week begins with a full Moon in Sagittarius. While full Moons are monthly, this one comes at an especially critical time for the mutable signs. Given the complexity of the times we might be overly animated and the proximity of Jupiter in the mix may amplify the theme of the time. A fairly uneasy week lies ahead as pairs of planetary couples stand in opposition to each other. Let’s first discover the pairs and what they may bring to the conversation. Huddling in together in Cancer we find Mercury and Mars. Cancer is a cardinal water sign and is known for nurturing, pioneering, and represents the maternal quality in us. Mars is a bit out of sorts in this sign, largely due to the fiery nature of aggressive Mars. Mercury most likely spends its time in Cancer as a negotiator over family and domestic affairs, bringing the discussion to a level of certainty. Together they could deliver a rather inflammatory conversation regarding home and family topics. At the same time this planetary pair stands in opposition to the long-term pairing of Saturn and Pluto both currently in retrograde and in Capricorn, a cardinal earth sign. Cardinal signs are all about initiation so we have to take that into consideration when we look at these pairings. Saturn and Pluto together are reshaping all of our lives in some capacity. Saturn is about responsibility and righting a wrong. Pluto is all about deconstruction and reconstruction. Taken together this current alignment of these four planets might bring up a domestic topic that requires a serious discussion about which direction to take. Diplomacy and calm nerves will be best approach for this.
Also this week we see Venus in Gemini standing in opposition to Jupiter in Sagittarius. At the same time, we see both of these planets in harsh angle to Neptune in Pisces. While both of these planets tend to deliver positive interchange, when standing in such a configuration we might expect to witness a different type of outcome. While Venus and Jupiter could easily deliver a time of overindulgence and gluttony, with Neptune involved we are better off preparing for a period of escapism. Neptune rules the illusive and in that theme escapism is a predominant byproduct. Since Venus and Jupiter are about the presence of pleasure, it is not a far stretch to imagine that indulgence head in the wrong direction. While it may present a period ideal for parties, beware of the tendency to overdo. Yes, the theme may be celebratory in nature, but also take time to recognize the influence of the results of an opposite outcome. Drugs and alcohol could figure prominently during this time and a lack of clarity may prevail. How does this impact you?
