Glancing at the celestial array this week the most dominant theme arises from a few oppositions. Oppositions offer a challenging theme, but not as severe or intense as a square or 90 degrees which is the true test of the situation at hand. To begin with we see the Sun standing in opposition to Jupiter late in the week. Since the Sun is a fast moving player, the impact will be minimal, especially with Jupiter involved. If anything, this might signal a good time for many. Jupiter amplifies the tone of the times and if things are looking rosy then Jupiter will amplify that mood. As a counter, the inverse can happen as well, but generally Jupiter is an aid and not a deterrent to any situation. Towards the end of the week and prior to the Full Moon, the Moon connects with Mercury, Mars, and Neptune in a grand water trine. This is a feel-good moment late in the week and may stimulate our intuitions, imaginations, and our desire to escape. A pervasive mood may prevail as we seek to find some glimmer of hope and optimism in what may appear to be a constructive outcome.
Mercury and Mars are standing in opposition to Saturn. Mercury and Mars together typically spells out volatility in conversation and communications with others. While these two are opposing Saturn we might expect to see a conversation or conflict that arises out of trying to correct that which is wrong. As a result, controversy could evolve as the situation takes place. This may be especially volatile since this alignment precedes a Full Moon at 25 degrees Sagittarius. We might expect to see aggression, anger, and a general feeling of unrest and a churning tension. Conflict and tension do serve a purpose and it may be helpful to view this in that light. Without the open discussion of an “elephant in the room,” so to speak, nothing would move forward. Out of conflict comes compromise and resolution. If the roof did not leak we would not fix it. We must face the conflicts and repair with diligence and good intention. Since the planets will have begun to wane, the influence will disperse. How does this impact you? ARIES (March 21-April 19): Questions surrounding your home, family and occupation may consume your thoughts this week. Your ruling planet, Mars is working with Mercury and opposing Saturn. You may be tasked with trying to find a solution to an occupational quandary. Late in the week you may stumble upon an agreeable outcome. Education and travel may provide clues.
TAURUS (April 20-May 20): Documentation, contracts, and legal topics may come to light for you this week. The same can be said for conversations with your siblings. Perhaps you have a monetary topic to resolve that comes to a head as you try and wrestle with shared assets. Relationships with partners and close friends may yield some creative moments of true abandon.
GEMINI (May 21-June 21): The Sun continues in Gemini which lights up your presence on the stage in your life. Monetary discussions might deliver a conflict that requires a decision to be made regarding a large institution or an elderly relative. Late in the week you may offer up a solution to a nagging problem at work. Look for ways to save money.
CANCER (June 22-July 22): Mars and Mercury are bearing down on you this week so try and side-step any potential hot topics that could flare up between you and your partner or close friend. Ultimately the prudent approach may prove to be the most agreeable. The solution resides in doing the right thing regardless of the pushback from others.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22): You may decide to spend some time taking care of yourself. Your daily routine is being challenged and that may be what sets things in motion. A new exercise or health routine might be the best way to address the situation. When you are moving your body will respond accordingly. This may be a great time to start.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22): Working with others may pose a few challenges for you this week as you try and find the right way to express yourself. Conversations about work or your occupation may be bright and potentially expansive. If you find the right angle you could use it to great results. This is a good week to explore employment avenues.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22): Travel may be on your mind as the Sun lights up that area of your life. The general theme is all about expanding your views, so education and new vistas are important in accomplishing that. Expect to find a possible challenge with family members and topics that involve your home. Your mood may lift later in the week.
SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov 21): You might receive some positive news regarding your finances this week and it could arrive from an elderly relative or outside supporter. Challenges continue with a sibling situation so be prepared to review documentation and legal papers. You may be restless and assuage your desires by impulsively booking a vacation or enrolling in a class.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21): Expect a touch of resistance when it comes to discussing home improvement plans with your significant partner. You may be standing firm on a decision that may require you to re-think your stance. Are your plans realistic? Are you reaching too far? The challenge may be financial and require a significant adjustment.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19): As you seek out a stretch of easiness you may be faced with more challenges. This will pass but the time is long and slow. The best approach to this is to endure and try and repair that which is muddled or unclear. Conversations may be animated with your partner, but a new door is soon to open.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18): As you turn towards a new start or a transition in your life, you may be having discussions that become heated or overly aggressive. Mars and Mercury together can stir up some heated responses, so bear that in mind and proceed accordingly. Are your financial expectations realistic? Emotions can run hot late in the week.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20): Your desire to create something new and exciting may become complicated by a challenging business partner who sees things differently. Career plans may be bold and optimistic but are they feasible? Neptune in Pisces may be clouding your vision of what is real versus what is fake. Seeking outside advice might be the best way forward.
