The Sun enters the sign that it rules as the week opens. With the Sun in Leo, the bold, charismatic, and the creative step into the limelight. Leos are known for all of the aforementioned and then some. Many of these qualities will come to light over the coming days and weeks as the Sun inches closer to Mars, also in Leo. All fire signs (Aries and Sagittarius) will benefit from this aspect as well as air signs (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius.) The combination of the Leo Sun and transiting Mars in Leo will be especially empowering since Mars represents action, ambition and aggression. Much will get accomplished as these two join forces. Mars is further amplified by an easy angle to the expansive Jupiter in Sagittarius. When thinking of this combination we can use concepts like powerful, increased visibility, and the desire to accomplish. Whatever comes to light in this aspect will be bold, dramatic, and likely expansive. Of course those terms can bend in either direction so we are wise to always bear that in mind. With the second eclipse of the season occuring last week, it may be that a big, bold expose occurs that blows open a whole new range of possibilities; both good or bad. How does this impact you? Each of us will feel this theme, but we will each feel it differently. Where will you feel it? Elsewhere we see Mercury, still in retrograde, aligning with Venus in Cancer. Topics of harmony, beauty, and compatibility may come to the surface and be up for re-evaluation. As with all retrogrades (and there are five planets currently in that phase), this may be an excellent time to reconsider our pathway forward. Have we made the right choices, or it is time to rethink our choices? This may be especially true with major projects in our lives as these two planets stand in opposition to the great transformer, Pluto. Pluto and Saturn (both retrograde) are teaming up to usher in an era of corrective action that will be made clear as we move into 2020 and beyond. The history books of the future will regard this shift as a turning point in each of our lives and the course of our societies. This is no small event. Albeit the theme is a slow move towards repair and reconstruction, but the results and outcomes are still quite evident. With Venus and Mercury involved this week we may find that a new alternative has arrived that allows us to accept a transition willingly as opposed to resigning to such an event. That is an important distinction. It is far easier to flow with the river of time than it is to swim against the onrush. Giving in does not imply giving up. When we are willing to change we do it with free will. If we resist the results will occur out of hardship rather than ease. As the great wheel turns we are best prepared when we are best informed.

ARIES (March 21-April 19): Words may tend to have greater weight this week so be mindful of that tendency and use them to your advantage. Events may move swiftly and without any advance notice. This tension-filled theme may be felt in financial dealings in particular. A slow-moving shift is unfolding that may encourage you to pursue creative endeavors.
TAURUS (April 20-May 20): You may feel a n electric vibration bubbling beneath the surface this week. You may not be able to identify why, but it may be there. If you can find a useful outlet you may be surprised with the results. However, if your emotions get in the way you may react out of character. Tread carefully.
GEMINI (May 21-June 21): An unexpected event involving a large organization may be what spurs you on this week. Documentation and research are areas that may provide the most insight and perhaps some surprises you had not anticipated. Since Mercury is still retrograde you may be wise to double-check any facts or figures that come your way.
CANCER (June 22-July 22): Mercury (in retrograde) and Venus are moving together through the late degrees of Cancer this week. Words and emotions may come easily and with a sense of harmony. You may be motivated to investigate a financial plan that offers an unusual benefit that may include business associates. Relationships become deeper and more meaningful.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22): This may be a week where you witness some sort of transition. Words and the rhetoric may be hot and the transition may come on the heels of some sort of exchange. With the Sun and Mars, both in Leo you may be especially motivated to see things your way. Stubbornness can be destructive so act cautiously.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22): Dialog exchanges with business associates may be a bit animated and possibly confusing. You may be working towards a new creative outlet and are struggling to come to terms with it. Travel and education may offer unusual alternatives for addressing your struggle and may be well worth pursuing. Watch your temper and think before speaking.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22): Look to your occupation for the action to occur this week. Mercury and Venus are in that part of your life and may offer up new options. With Mercury in retrograde you may be mislead about a possibility and therefore confused about an outcome. Home and domestic themes pose your greatest challenge, but also provide the greatest rewards.
SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov 21): Keep an eye on your plans this week, especially if you are traveling. Plans and schedules may alter so be prepared. Expect to see a lot of action in your career as the Sun and Mars work together there for you. Research and documentation may prove to be your greatest challenge. An unusual discovery may involve your partner.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21): The topic of long-term finances and investments may yield some pleasing news this week. The information may be somewhat confusing though and should be approached with caution. With Mercury in retrograde pairing up with Venus the plans presented could appear to be more beneficial than the reality of the terms. Read carefully and pause.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19): You and your partner may find that your dreams are boundless. Your conversations may be filled with optimism and expansion. You may enjoy this repartee, but be aware of the reality of the current situation. Are your ideas attainable? You may be wiser to table your plans and focus on the present until less turbulent times arrive.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18): As you continue your long-term transition you may be tempted to invest in an opportunity with a business partner. While the allure of such a plan may be real, you may be wiser to postpone any such transaction until Mercury stations direct. A temporary glow may fill you with a desire to expand but the timing is off.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20): Mercury and Venus are moving through fellow water sign, Cancer this week and you may be immersed in pleasurable activities, particularly with children. A party-like atmosphere may be the perfect antidote to challenging business plans and partners. A break in the grind may be a worthy pursuit as long as you realize it is temporary.
