The focus of this week centers around a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse that occurs on the 10th. With the Sun in Capricorn, the Lunar Eclipse is at 20 degrees Cancer. Cancer is the sign that rules the Moon and, therefore it is embedded with emotions; both good and bad. Eclipses shed light on topics that are bubbling near the surface or tucked way in the hidden recesses of our collective psyches. Each of us will feel this influence differently, but most especially the cardinal signs; Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn. The cardinal signs are the ones going through the most significant changes as we enter the new year. If you are a cardinal sign or if you have a cardinal ascendant you are likely to be feeling the shift these transits present. The squares to the eclipse are the most prevalent and demanding. Something in your life must be coming to a head or you are facing a transition that may be burdensome. Nonetheless this is a challenge that must be met head on lest you be pulled along unwillingly. Where will you feel it? If you have questions about your own unique destiny contact me at, www.chrisflisher.com, or www.turningofthewheel.com.
Late in the week, just after the eclipse Uranus stations direct after its long retrograde. Uranus is currently transiting through Taurus. In this capacity, Uranus can deliver surprises that are not anticipated and that is especially the case for Tauruses and other fixed signs; Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius. Uranus rules the eccentric and unpredictable, At the same time it commands over innovation, rebellion and anything that is new and unusual. Uranus will be direct until August of 2020 when it again stations retrograde. While in Taurus, Uranus behaves much differently than it did while in Aries over the last seven years. In Taurus, Uranus will exhibit its influence in the banks, the financial industry in general. WE are likely to see its influence at some point as the markets tend to be volatile and subject to sudden changes. With that in mind we might all be wise to diversify our holdings in a manner that protects our investments. Finally, Saturn will conjunct Pluto this week exactly by degree on the 11th. The combination of these two highly influential and challenging planets cannot be overstated and each of us will feel this. Each of us has this influence in our lives somewhere. ARIES (March 21-April 19): The focus continues to be on your occupation. With a strong collection of planets in Capricorn, you may begin to feel pulled in a direction you had not considered earlier in your life. Occupation need not be defined as a career but what you do to occupy your time. This is where you’ll need to look for answers.
TAURUS (April 20-May 20): Uranus will be the planet you’ll need to pay attention to for the next several years, but if you are an early Taurus, prepare yourself for an unanticipated shift of some nature. You may reap the rewards of something that you had not expected. This influence can go in an array of outcomes, so pay attention to surprises.
GEMINI (May 21-June 21): Your focus this week will be on fitting in to large organization. There are challenges with large institutions, but the jewels are also hidden there. You will likely be tasked with trying to fit in and leave your mark. Long term investments are also a critical area for you to focus. Strive for stability and security.
CANCER (June 22-July 22): Significant friendships and romantic partners are where you are learning to adapt. Character traits that you may have worn in the past may be shifting to new ways of living and coping with others. This represents an opportunity for growth and tolerance. Significant relationships; those to which you are closest, may hold the greatest potential.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22): Time and energy that you can spend on addressing and maintaining your health will be where you see the greatest potential. Tye same theme applies to your daily routine. Maybe it’s time to invest in your daily habits in ways that allow you to benefit from tasks rather than have them weigh on you. Walk to work, for example.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22): What could you do that would enliven your creative output? Are you aware of your potential? The challenge for you will be to find a form of expression that fully completes who you are meant to be. Children, fun (yes, fun) and creativity sound like a gift from the universe, but within that gem is a challenge.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22): Quite likely that you and your family are moving through a significant change in lifestyle and direction. People may be moving away or closer. New family members may be arriving while others leave. Your primary residence could also be under a renewed direction such as renovation, alteration or addition. In all cases the change will ultimately be for the better
SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov 21): Your challenges will arrive in the form of documentation and all that may entail. Contracts, legal matters, financial terms and conditions as well as communication on all levels with all people. This is a challenge that may test your patience with others, but especially siblings. Your skills are required and so the task falls to you.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21): Have you bitten off more than you can chew? Financial matters are where you may feel the most challenging decisions arise for you. Long-term planning is critical. Also review what choices you may have made that could be altered to accommodate a changing and potentially volatile market for the long term. Surprises are possible with children.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19): You may feel pulled in opposite directions. On one side you have the expansive and generous Jupiter working on your behalf and you have the power of Saturn’s regimen, but behind all that there is the need to change yourself in some dramatic manner. Dramatic is a relative term but the struggle may be in adapting to change.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18): You may be in the throes of a shifting lifestyle or a possible relocation. What are you considering that you would like to embark upon? In any and all cases the change may be fraught with delays and challenges, but persistence will pay off, ultimately. More than any other sign you possess the potential redefine yourself through a shift.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20): The way in which you7 interact with business partners and team members is where you are likely to feel challenged. Have you made the wrong alignments? Are they not what they appeared to be? You may face these and other partnership challenges. New approaches may be required. How can you adapt and be effective at the same time?
