The big news this week arrives with a full Moon lunar eclipse in the early degrees of Leo. As the Sun stares across the zodiac from the early degrees of Aquarius we must harken to the call of collective creativity. What does that look like? As we scan our societies we see division and delusion. How do we address that? This is a moment when our collective voices reach a point where action is required to right that which is wrong or imbalanced. A call for correction rises out of the earth-bound Capricornian energy as witnessed in the presence of Mercury, Saturn and Pluto all pushing us towards responsible resolution. With Mars standing in a square to Saturn, we can surmise that we must step into our tangled web of uncertainty and unwind the apparatus that has collapsed all around us. Eclipses offer moments of potential enlightenment. The light reveals areas of our world were attention must be paid. How do we right this imbalance of power and greed? In this capacity the eclipse provides insight and awareness on the collective level. All of us must strive towards greater community as support can only be of aid if it is offered collectively and equitably. Together we can rid ourselves of an old outdated pattern and break ground for a new paradigm. Elsewhere we see a pleasing alignment between Venus (now in Sagittarius) and Jupiter. While this is a easy aspect, it may be overshadowed by the tension unfolding with Mars, Uranus and Pluto. Still, this may serve as a counterpoint to the tension that may be clearly evident. Venus does well in Sagittarius, the sign of the adventurer. Jupiter is the ruler of Sagittarius so that makes this combination even sweeter. When combined, these two planets may deliver great adventures, new education plans, and themes of religious or spiritual in nature. They are all expansive and optimistic. While that appears to be worthwhile and productive, much of that potential may be diffused by the aforementioned alignments. As a counterpoint, though, we also see Mercury and the Sun in Aquarius aligning in a easy angle as well. Aquarius is the sign that rules the collective, so sweeping changes that impact all people could be the byproduct of the talks. Great progress may be made as discussions and negotiations are highly likely under this theme. When we combine all these aspects together the story may be that of a compromise arrives that allows the government to continue but in a new a radically different manner.
