After a rather whimsical romp with Punksutawney Phil on Groundhog Day we witness the ingress of Mercury into Pisces. Mercury is a swift-moving inner planet and rarely settles long enough in a sign unless, of course, there is a retrograde spell, which will be coming up in a few days, on the 16th. While Mercury is in Pisces it tends to represent a dream-like quality where the imagination may take a turn for fantasy rather than the normal facts, figures, and details that are normally ascribed to the planet of communication. Because of this elusive quality communications may appear to be obscure and a bit too lofty to grasp. That tendency leaves lots of room for misinterpretation and confusion. In fact, Mercury in Pisces is a bit like a Mercury retrograde in that regard. On one hand you have the ability to express subtlety while on the other hand, the theme can manifest an obscure dialog. Once we enter the retrograde period, those qualities will tend to bend towards obscurity and confusion and require a repetition of the facts in order to be certain of the details being provided. Towards the end of the week we will witness Venus ingress into Aries. Venus in Aries tends to be aggressive in matters of the heart and far more action-oriented. We may find that our impulses regarding romance are more impulsive and perhaps less stable. Because Aries tends to be quick, explosive (at times), and rash, the tendency may be towards a burst of affection as opposed to a long lingering approach. Aries is known for impulsivity, whereas Venus is the harbinger of beauty and harmony. While in Aries, Venus may be more self-interested than outwardly inclined. With the emphasis on self, rather than others, we might be more self-centered with regards to affection and insight. Venus is weakened in this position and therefore doesn’t exude the same positive vibration as it might ordinarily do in a sign more adaptive to the whims of Venus. Soon, Venus will be in Taurus, where it’s stature can be more emblematic of true love and pleasure. Where is that happening in your life? Contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org.

ARIES (March 21-April 19): Your focus will likely continue to be drawn to issues of occupation. This long-term trend may not be resolved yet but the answer looms in the distance. Venus will soon be in Aries and your personal charm may be highlighted. Capitalize on this theme and draw opportunities to your doorstep. Make hay while the sun shines.
TAURUS (April 20-May 20): Your challenge remains in the area of education and travel. How would more training improve your situation? Mingle with business associates to gather ideas and ways to expand your skill set. You can never know too much. Watch for chance encounters that could rock your world. Good prospects for attention on the job while the Sun shines there.
GEMINI (May 21-June 21): Your time and preoccupation may come from your role within a large organization. This expansive and necessary involvement can be quite beneficial to you despite the challenges inherent within it. Train your focus on topics of your occupation. You have room to push here for what you deem as a new way forward; a departure from the norm.
CANCER (June 22-July 22): Research into new methods for personal expansion are quite beneficial this week. Explore new training, education, and any effort that allows you to bolster your viability. Travel is also a worthy expenditure, even if short trips. As long as your experience serves to enhance your skill set, the time will be well spent. Patience with relationships.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22): The Sun, your ruler, is drifting through your relationships this week. Take the time to acknowledge and celebrate your significant partners. Your challenge continues to be the focus of how you live out your days lately. Your occupation, health, and your general wellbeing are highlighted as important themes on which to focus.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22): Your ruling planet, Mercury is spinning through your relationships this week while in Pisces. This can present an ideal opportunity to open up and express yourself in terms that you might not ordinarily use. Meanwhile your growth area continues to be personal expression. Perhaps this is the week to let your partner know how you much you appreciate them.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22): Home, family, and all things domestic continue to weigh on you. Help from a close relationship may provide a boost to your strained resources. This slow-moving transit may be onerous, but the end result will be that of arrival and necessity. Discussions about health and check-ups are likely and perhaps require a second opinion.
SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov 21): With the three planets in fellow water-sign Pisces you may be in the midst of a creative exploration that involves children and fantasy. This may be a side note to your week, but present nonetheless. Challenges with contracts, legal measures, and siblings are highly likely. Despite the tediousness of the exercise, the results could be game-changing.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21): Long-term financial discussions are likely to pin you down on a decision that has to be made sooner or later. Discussions swirl around family and domestic matters. Are your long-term goals set up to prepare your family for the future? You may be overly aggressive so be mindful of being overbearing and immoveable.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19): Despite the pile-up of heavy planetary players in Capricorn, you may be slowly encouraged to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Reinvention is not a chore for the faint-hearted, but of all the members of the zodiac, you are the most resilient and steadfast, so soldier on, the results you desire are on the way.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18): The Sun is shining in Aquarius so you gave the spotlight this week. With that in mind you may be preparing for a major shift in your focus. With Jupiter, Saturn, and Pluto all pushing you to transition, you may feel emboldened by the momentum gathering. Only you will know when the time is right to execute.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20): Mercury and Neptune are in venus and you may be thinking about a creative venture that has mass appeal. Working with team members and partners can be draining, but the conversation is slow and necessary. Be patient. Progress comes quite slowly but with likely high rewards. Avoid emotional displays late in the week.
