FORECAST: Weekly Astrology February 11, 2019

Weekly Astrology for February 11, 2019 by Chris Flisher

A fairly exciting week looks to be in store as Mars and Uranus come to an exact conjunction in the late degrees of Aries mid week.  Mars is known for action and aggression, whereas Uranus rules over the innovative, rebellious, and the unexpected. Uranus is a slow-moving outer planet, so when it delivers an unanticipated event or shift of some sort it is typically caused by a triggering planet by aspect.  Mars is just the trigger for such an event to occur. Because Mars is defined by powerful characteristics it should come as no surprise that it could conceivably be the finger on the trigger that delivers an unexpected event. Mars has an extra dose of potency here since it is the ruler of Aries.  Uranus is getting ready to exit Aries where it has been for the last seven years. Anytime a planet is involved in a major shift of some sort (changing signs or retrograding) there tends to be an amplification of the event. With Mars in Aries and Uranus readying to enter Taurus we could easily bear witness to a dramatic event.  With the current administration’s misdeeds coming to light through several high-profile testimonies, we could be shocked by an admission that leaves little to wonder about what has occurred over the last few years. On a personal level, we all have an area of our lives where such an event could take place. Do you know where that is?  The specifics are unique to you, based on your unique birth. Elsewhere we can see Venus creeping closer to a conjunction with Saturn over the coming days and into next week.  Venus and Saturn together often deliver a sense of reality which could be quite relevant today, especially as we scan our digital devices awaiting for the next scandal or expose to arrive.  What we may face is a sobering reality in the face of reckless hyperbole. Instead of being bombarded with distraction after distraction we may find that this planetary influence brings us justice that is born of duty.  While this may present us with a moment of reckoning we may be relieved as this influence flushes the stained past and returns us to a degree of normalcy. Venus and Saturn are an odd couple, but in that relationship comes a necessary and welcome outcome.  While Venus tends to provide harmony and a genteel aesthetic, Saturn by contrast offers up duty, responsibility and probity. Together the influence of each orb combines to bring us to a place where order and common sense return to the public discourse. Unfortunately, since Venus is a fast-moving inner planet, this influence may be fleeting.  Still, the influence may be profound and it may set the tone for the coming year as we eventually see Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, and Pluto all together in close proximity in the spring of 2020.

ARIES (March 21- April 19)

As tedious as it may seem, you may still be coping with topics surrounding your career.  The good news is that Venus has moved into alignment with Saturn. In this pairing Venus may offer up an opportunity or at least sweeten the conversation about work.  Mars and Uranus can pull the trigger to make it all happen.

TAURUS (April 20 -May 20)

Mars steps into Taurus this week and you may find that are overly motivated to make an impression.  Education and travel are prominent subjects so bear that in mind as you work your way through the week.  Talks with business associates may require some clarity or clearing of the air. Get the facts straight before you respond.

GEMINI (May 21-June 21)

Career topics may be prominent this week as Mercury and Neptune gather in that area of your life.  With Neptune be aware of confusion or a misrepresentation of facts. You may find a hyperbolic team member who may try to sell something unrealistic or unattainable given resources.  Large organizations may be primed for a reorganization, so be aware.

CANCER (June 22-July 22)

Your primary relationship and close friends may be undergoing a long-term shift.  What once was may be shifting to something deeper, more meaningful. Travel and education are alluring, but be aware of a possible confusion factor as Mercury and Neptune cojoin.  You might be lured into a program that is not all it appears to be.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)

Follow your instincts regarding health and wellness plans.  Your daily work pattern may be shifting and you may be intrigued by the idea of turning that time into something more  useful to your own wellbeing. Exercise, diet are all likely to shift. Be aware of talks with large institutions as the substance may be uncertain.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

Conversations with your significant partner might be a bit confusing.  Your ruling planet, Mercury is cojoining Neptune and that may cloud the topic, so be aware.  Elsewhere your creative expression may be undergoing a shift in direction. This is a slow motion shift, but you may get insight this week into a possible new direction.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

Your home and family may be slowly adapting to a new way forward.  This long-term influence may shift your priorities in ways you could not have imagined years ago.  Changes are not to be feared. Rather they are to be embraced for they offer growth and the ability to expand your knowledge and love.

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov 21)

Conversations with children may be a bit confusing this week so strive for clarity when speaking with them.  The same holds true for creative endeavors. Research and documentation are still prominent themes for you and will be undergoing a long-term shift for you.  Siblings continue to be a topic for you and may require a new approach.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

Conversations that revolve around family or your physical home may be a bit uncertain or confusing.  Mercury and Neptune together can create a backdrop of abstract ideas with ambiguity at their core. Long-term financial choices may be underway that dramatically shift your priorities.  Secure investments that are recession proof and earth-based, renewable.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

A collection of slow-moving planets continue to march through Capricorn.  You are singularly poised to evolve in a new manner unlike anything you have known before.  Take this opportunity to plot out the best course forward. Be aware of conversations with siblings that could meander into confusion.  Contracts and written agreements may require scrutiny.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

Transition continues to be your major long-term theme.  With that in mind be aware of any and all financial transactions.  Carefully examine the details of such transactions and watch for inaccuracies and possible false figures.  Sun is in the late degrees of Aquarius and you are in the spotlight. Be wary of financial deals.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)

Mercury and Neptune are in Pisces.  While Mercury glides by quickly, Neptune’s influence presents a possible misrepresentation of facts.  Train your focus on business partners which may be undergoing a long-term shift to a different model. Are you seeing the situation clearly?  An outside opinion might help provide clarity to a possible uncertain alliance.
