We begin the week on the heels of a Full Moon in Leo which occurred on Sunday at 20 degrees Leo. Full Moons are always a charged cosmic event since they bring attention to our emotions. We are living in a volatile time and our emotions seem to be driving us further and further apart. This is just the tenor of the times as we see a great deconstruction/reconstruction unfolding in the Capricorn mansion of the zodiac. All of us will be impacted by this great conjunction. Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto are all working to create a great (Jupiter), responsible (Saturn), reordering (Pluto) of the basic foundations that sustain our lives. Soon, Mars will join this conjunction and bring a level of action and possibly aggression to the scene. This may sound overly dramatic, but much of that rhetoric comes from the long, slow, turning of the tables in our sense of order and security. This can’t be overstated for when it comes to the old giving way to the new, there is no stronger combination of influences than those brought to us by these planets and their archetypal symbology. Some area of each of our lives will be under examination for eliminating that which no longer serves us or that which no longer serves the greater evolution of the species. Where will you feel it? The other notable aspect that comes into play this week is with Mercury and Neptune which are both swirling through Pisces. Neptune is also a slow-moving outer planet and its influence is also slow and long. Whereas, Mercury is a fast-moving inner planet. In such an alignment the fast-moving Mercury can trigger the slow-moving Neptune. Neptune rules the subconscious and all that is elusive and delusive. In that regard we are often mislead or confused by events. When we add Mercury to the equation we can see, perhaps, our message is not being delivered properly, or at least the delivered message may be misinterpreted. The combination of Neptune with Mercury is similar in many respects to a Mercury retrograde where facts and figures are often misconstrued. It will be imperative to be focused on the truth and let the facts rise to the top of the discussion, where they can not be hidden in a veil of falsehood and misrepresentation. ARIES (March 21-April 19): Venus is in Aries this week as it aligns with Chiron, the planet of the wounded healer. The combination of these two planets sets the backdrop for healing. Old wounds, severed relationships, and memories of the past may be on your mind and the chance to forgive and forget rises in your consciousness. Let go.
TAURUS (April 20-May 20): You may be feeling overwhelmed by your working situation this week. Restless and impatient, you may be mulling over what your options are going forward. Procrastination may be plaguing you. Tempers may flare late in the week so keep your cool with close friends and lovers. You may be driven to find an alternate solution.
GEMINI (May 21-June 21): Time spent on large organizations and legal topics can seem tedious, but also promising. The slow climb comes with a reward for those who are patient and tenacious. Opportunities to express your plans may appear while on the job. Your challenge will be to express them effectively. Set the right tone and elaborate on it.
CANCER (June 22-July 22): Effort that you put into expanding your skill set can prove to be beneficial. The more you can learn and expand, the greater your chances are for exposure. Relationships are a continued source of growth for you and your closest, so be patient with the foibles of those you love. Reciprocity has a great return.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22): Be mindful of a tendency towards heated or unrealistic rhetoric in your dealings with large organizations or on the subject of legal matters. Like a Mercury retrograde period, the potential exists for confusion or misrepresented facts. Turn your attention to lifestyle changes such as diet, exercise and a heightened awareness of your viability.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22): Conversations with close friends or lovers may be filled with lofty rhetoric. There may not be anything worrisome about that, but it may be wise to be aware. Promises made may not be kept, for example. Challenges continue with creative expression and you may find that you are making slow progress. Persist.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22): Your ruling planet, Venus is sitting together with Chiron in your relationship house. This sets the stage for forgiveness and moving forward once again. Topics of health, especially mental health, may be brought to your attention. Review the findings scrupulously since there may be some information that has been withheld. Research and second opinions.
SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov 21): Mercury and Neptune are in fellow water sign, Pisces and you curiosity may be piqued regarding a plan you have for a creative project or perhaps a child. The long-term struggle you face reains with communication and coping with siblings. You may be able to frame your relationship with siblings as one of seeking forgiveness.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21): As Mars prepares to leave Sagittarius, you may be feeling a last-minute burst of motivation to complete a long-standing project. Financial matters continue to highlight certain vulnerabilities that might have been on your mind for some time. A solution may be on the way. Conversations about family and domestic matters might be confusing or overly complex.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19): An opportunity to find peace and closure with a family matter may finally be on your mind. Time and distance may have provided the foundation for you to reach this juncture. Soon you will be motivated to pivot in a new direction as Mars enters Capricorn in the coming weeks. Time to seek results.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18): The Sun lingers in Aquarius for a few more days, but your focus may be financially driven. When considering which direction to take with your finances you may be prone to misinformation. Dig deep or get second opinions before taking any steps. The time has come to find closure and forgiveness with siblings.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20): Mercury and Neptune are in Pisces and your mind may be dwelling in thought patterns that are focused on your self-esteem. Challenges continue as you try to work with business associates in an amicable and constructive manner. A careful review of financial holdings may help you to resolve a past wound.
