Eclipsipalian

This mandala came to life on the eve of an eclipse in the year 2004. Eclipses carry enormous power and impact in astrology. The widely held belief theorizes that as the sun and moon block each other, the energy of the other planets is more pervasive. Since the sun and moon dominate our true inner sky, the outer planets have little room for attention. As a result, during the eclipse, their opportunity arrives. Uranus, Neptune and Pluto all bear significant power during an eclipse. The effects of the eclipse linger for several months after. They often signify a dramatic change if they appear at an important point in your astrology chart. The title is a coined word that I derived from merging Episcopalian and eclipse. I was raised the son of an Episcopalian preacher man.

The only one who could ever reach me
Was the son of a preacher man.
The only boy who could ever teach me
Was the son of a preacher man.
Yes he was, he was, mmm, yes he was.
“Son Of A Preacher Man”
