Astrology Forecast ~ November 3, 2014 by Chris Flisher
The Sun and Venus continue their slow waltz across the cosmos this week and it isn’t until the middle of the month that they align with Saturn and bring a sense of responsibility to our dialog. The Sun and Venus poses a nice connection as the two tend to bring out a warmth for humanity. This may manifest as a collective empathy for areas of strife in the world and a willingness to reach out a hand to help others. And others may need the help as we see many hot-spots on the planetary stage. Hot-spots are definitely present and they are certainly drawing our attention. As they should. As I mention all the time; if the roof did not leak we would not fix it. The roof is leaking and we must attend to it. Whether it is containing a revolutionary force in the Middle East, a growing political surge in the United States (timely this week), or a runaway virus in Africa, our focus needs to be directed appropriately and the cosmos will assure that to be the case. Humanity grows through adversity. Of course, this would not be our choice, but it seems to be a simple law of nature. Events do happen and they do raise our awareness in the most profound manner. If they didn’t, nothing would change and we would spiral out of control. Time is a helios and events recur with a distinct repetition under a different time and place and therein lies the distinction. Events may be similar in theme, but the setting is markedly different as progress moves us forward. With that in mind we can make progress by learning from our mistakes. What once caused upheaval in the past, may now be brought under control as we have new eyes and experience with which to handle history. The Full Moon in Taurus should shine a light on all that remains to be seen.
History will surely be witnessed and it may be quite profound. We have a boiling of tension arising as Mars approaches Pluto and Uranus. This alignment poses a potential for high drama of some nature. Remember drama need not always mean disaster. There are plenty of moments when planets align that things turn out quite well for people. Having said that, please note that Mars is a planet of action, ambition, aggression, and yes anger, but more often that not he can be a great motivator. In this case I can see him aligning with Pluto to bring about a necessary rec0nstruction of some sort. With Pluto in Capricorn it may be quite likely that something large and institutional will show signs of weakness; such as the economy. October has always been a historically volatile month for the markets and this may be no different. With Uranus involved at the same time we can expect some sort of unexpected correction. This will happen in and around the second week of November so this is the time to prepare. This alignment is close to the same degree as the Grand Cardinal Cross of last April which clicked in at 13 degrees. Uranus will be at 13 Aries, while Pluto will be at 12 Capricorn, where Mars will transit briefly, setting off the trigger. This is an important historical period. Just as a point of reference, the Grand Cardinal Cross of last April 20-22 was a period of time when there were more earthquakes registered on the planet than at any other time in history. This was a notable difference; and not some minor blip. As with all transits, the action tends to occur in the applying period (leading up to), whereas the results tend to unfold after the fact.
